The Iliad

Claimed to be the most beautiful woman in the world was the wife of King Menelaus of Sparta. Helen was either kidnapped or seduced by Paris of Troy which was the catalyst for the decade long Trojan War.

Menelaus was the mighty King of Sparta and married to Helen. After his wife disappeared with Paris of Troy, Menelaus summoned his brother, Agamemnon and the duo united Greece against Troy to win back his bride.

The long lost Prince of Troy returned to his home with open arms. Paris grew up in humble beginnings only to be thrown into the political drama of Troy and Sparta. After making a deal with the goddess of love, Aphrodite, Paris fell in love with Helen, the most beautiful woman in the world. Unfortunately, Helen was married to King Menelaus of Sparta. Despite this, the prince kidnapped/seduced the queen and brought her back to Troy.

Elder brother of Menelaus and King of Mycenae, Agamemnon is summoned to war after this brother's wife is stolen by Paris. Agamemnon calls the cities of Greece together and leads the campaign against the Trojans to get his sister-in-law back to Sparta. In reality, Agamemnon's true motives may be the gold and glory of defeating Troy.

Son of King Priam of Troy, Hector is the greatest warrior in all of Troy's domain. After learning his brother had gone under his nose to steal Helen of Sparta, Hector leads Troy's defense against the invading Greeks.

Said to be the greatest warrior in all of Troy, the mighty Achilles is summoned to join the Greek campaign against Troy. Achilles, along with his skilled warriors, the Myrmidons, and his best friend, Patroclus, make a major impact in the war against Troy.

Elderly King of Troy, Priam decided to stand with Paris against the Greeks. Priam is also the father of Hector, Helenus, and Cassandra.

King of Ithaca, Odysseus is a honorable warrior and well respected among the Greeks. Odysseus' journey continues in his sequel to The Iliad, The Odyssey.

A large and imposing figure, Ajax the Great is said to be the second greatest fighter among the Greek forces.
