The Hobbit

The Hobbit is a fantasy novel by JRR Tolkien about a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who is hired by a group of dwarves to help them reclaim their stolen treasure from a dragon. Along their journey, they encounter trolls, goblins, giant spiders, and other magical creatures. In the end, Bilbo is successful in helping the dwarves reclaim their treasure and is rewarded with a share of it.
